I take them out to get exercise, however they only sleep like a total of 4 hours a day and only when crated. If I do not crate them they would never sleep otherwise! My friends’ puppy she says sleeps a lot more but she says he gets very bored has no play mate and is kept indoors most of the time.This gives me little time to eat, clean and cook and do earrands during the day, is this normal?

How much sleep can you do without before it starts to do permanent damage?

I have a 4½ month old Lhasa apso puppy, how much sleep is enough, how much is too much?
She is sleeping from 10PM-8AM. Daytime sleep is what I need to know. Taking 3 hour naps, is that normal?
She sleeps in her cozy crate.

I am 13 and play lots of sports and am active about two hours a day. I am wondering what the healthy amount of sleep is for me. Right now i usually go to bed around 10 pm and wake up at 7-7:15 am on school days. Is this good?

I am thinking about sleep this morning. My daughter has been fighting a cold, and today I am letting her sleep as long as she needs to. We will do our schoolwork in the afternoon, if need be. I know on a daily basis she gets about an hour more sleep than her public school neighborhood friends who have to be up early to catch the bus. I often wonder if this accounts for my children’s happy dispositions? It is well known that adequate sleep promotes good health. How much sleep do your kids get?

It’s recommended that an adult get 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night. Well I can’t even remember the last time I slept 7 hours straight.

How much sleep do you get? If you don’t sleep enough, why? If you sleep more then 8 hours will you please share your secrets on how you do that?

I am 22, i work 40 hours a week, and i’m also taking 3 courses this semester. I have about 4-6 hours of asleep every night. Will i be developing any sleeping disorders if i have this much sleep a night. How many hours of sleep should i get for my age? What is healthy?

I know that recieving 9.5 hours of sleep restores a person immune system, and at least 8 hours guide in effective anabolic activity as well as neurohormone effectiveness. But i find myself quite educated in general biology and medicine, but unfortunately do not know that much about sleep. Any accurate information would be helpful, please get into as much detail as possible in your own words, do not copy adn waste from wikipedia or other sources, as i can do that myself. Thanks.

I try to get at the least 9 hours but am told I should at least get 10. I have a tendency to sleep late and probably average 7 to 8 hours a school night of sleep. When I wake up I tell my sleep I will sleep early since I am so tired but that never happens. So how much sleep should a highschooler get? I always seem tired throughout the day and I hate it but don’t want to sleep soo early either.
