My son is 4 and a half months, and he waking up every two hours at night. (sometimes every hour) He wakes up a 5 am and is up for the day. He has two 45 minute naps twice a day. People told me that when he started eating cereal he would sleep more at night, but that is not the case at all. What can I do to help him sleep. Should I start letting him cry himself to sleep, or is he too young?

My daughter will be 7 weeks old on Sunday. She sleeps in her crib for naps and will sleep in her bassinet at night. She usually wakes up around 3-4am for a diaper change and then to be fed. When she sleeps in my bed, she will not wake up until 6-7am. I love that she sleeps til then but am wondering why this happens?
